We are actively seeking a talented Senior Platform System and Network Engineer specialising in messaging and with a strong knowledge of Kafka. Your role within our platform team is crucial to ensuring the performance, availability, scalability, and lifecycle of our Kafka clusters.

As Senior Platform Engineer, your will:

  • Manage multiple queuing platforms, with a strong focus on Kafka
  • Maintain various infrastructure components in Brevo.
  • Provide on-call support for platform components.
  • Design and maintain the queuing platform.
  • Participate in the RFC/ADR review process.
  • Work with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform (a plus).
  • Utilize DevOps and SRE tools for monitoring, logging, and automation.
  • Be a strong team player.

  • What will contribute to your success:

  • 5+ years of experience in distributed platforms.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Kafka.
  • Knowledge of Redis and RabbitMQ (strong plus).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux & Scripting skills.
  • Basic networking knowledge
