We seek a dynamic and creative Culinary Specialist to join Tasterโs French team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about culinary innovation and operational efficiency. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our operations and various brand teams to develop delicious, innovative menus that meet our customers' desires and are operationally feasible. If you have a strong culinary vision and love creating unforgettable food experiences, this role is for you!
๐คYour responsabilitiesย
Menu Development: Conceptualize and design menus for new brands, infusing creativity and simplicity to entice our customers to order.
Seasonal Innovations: Regularly develop seasonal items for existing brands, incorporating market trends and customer preferences.
Quality Testing: Ensure all ingredients meet our quality standards and customer expectations through rigorous testing in our kitchens.
Brand Alignment: Align all recipes and menus with the ethos and customer expectations of each QSR brand.
Operations Collaboration: Partner with the operations team to ensure your recipes can be executed efficiently in our kitchen partner locations.
Documentation: Create SOPs, allergen, and shelf life documents to ensure safe and high-quality kitchen operations.
Culinary Research: Stay updated on food trends and innovations to enhance recipe development and menu planning.
Project Management: Oversee projects from conception to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time and at a high-quality standard.
Feedback Integration: Gather and apply feedback from customers and cross-functional teams to improve recipes and operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Masterโs degree in business administration, with culinary education or certification preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years in recipe development or a related role, ideally in the QSR industry.
Skills: Strong project management skills, creativity, and a passion for culinary arts and innovation.
Technical: Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date on food trends, food safety, and nutrition.
Languages: Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
