As Strapi embraces a Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Product-Led Sales (PLS) strategy for 2025, we are transforming the way our sales team operates to meet the needs of a rapidly growing customer base and an evolving market.
Our team is small but mighty: five professionals, including a Sales Manager, a Sales Engineer, a Partner Development Manager, and two Account Executives. Together, we focus on driving growth through acquiring new logos and expanding opportunities within our existing customer base.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a startup with solid double-digit revenue growth, and to work with some of the worldโ€™s leading companies, including Rakuten, Tesco, IBM, eBay, Mitsubishi, and more. Youโ€™ll play a key role in shaping our approach to PLS, building trust with clients, and helping them succeed with Strapiโ€™s Enterprise Edition.

๐Ÿ“‹ What will my job look like on a daily basis?
- You ensure our users are successful by understanding their project and ensuring that Strapi is a good fit for their use case
- You qualify leads (there is no SDRย in the team) and build a strong relationship with the most promising ones for both new logo and expansion
- You manage mid-market and complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple engagement points: IT, Product Management, - - Marketing teams, and other lines of business.
- You navigate through the procurement process to close deals.
- You facilitate the transition to the Customer Success Managers when a deal is closed.
- You store and update information in our tools (HubSpot, Chargebee, etc.).
- You document our processes in our Sales handbook.
- You share feedback you receive with the Product team.
- You participate in our go-to-market strategy for the relevant markets and organizations in your territory.
- You are an expert in Strapi, and in Headless CMSs in general.

- A strong desire to make our users successful.
- A passion for technical products and a hands-on behaviour
- Always looking to understand the "why" behind the "why."
- Experience in selling technical software.
- Experience in selling to developers.
- Familiar with Sales Methodology such as MEDDIC or BANT
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills.
- You share our values and work by those values.
It's even better if you're:
- Familiar with the JAMstack ecosystem.
- Preferred experience with Content Management Systems.

Having only 3 women in a team of 14 men, and 1 woman in their tech team early on, they have since grown their workforce to 39% of women, and now their tech team to have 25% of women. It is evident in the many actions they have implemented to grow the company in the right way, that diversity, equity, and inclusion are a priority. Strapi has made a commitment to only work with inclusive recruitment companies and is expanding its reach across several platforms and communities to diversify its pipeline, and source candidates from underrepresented groups.
